Se-on’s Journey with Hyper

“Before joining Hyper, I knew there had to be an easier way for people to discover, publish, and discuss evidence-based content. I could see the problem clearly because it was something I experienced myself, but I had no idea how to turn that vision into a real startup. That’s what led me to Hyper.

I had a strong idea but very little understanding of what it actually took to build a startup. Through the process, I validated my concept, refined my thinking, and developed a clear roadmap for bringing Odd Academia to life. Instead of feeling overwhelmed by the unknown, I gained the structure, guidance, and confidence to move forward with purpose.

With Hyper’s support, I built a clear product vision, developed my brand, and launched a working MVP. From there, I continued refining the platform, testing it with real users, and strengthening the product through ongoing feedback. What started as an idea became a real startup with a clear direction and growing momentum.

Today, Odd Academia is a live MVP in beta. We’re building our founding community by helping people publish, discover, discuss and showcase evidence-based work, and refining the platform through real feedback as we go. Along the way we’ve also built a growing network of advisors, founders, students and community partners, all helping shape where Odd Academia goes next.”
