“I came to Hyper while working full-time, and the idea for Recovr was at a very early stage. I knew there was a real problem in the fitness industry around member retention, but the biggest challenge was clearly articulating the commercial opportunity and pressure-testing whether the idea could actually support a scalable venture.
The process forced us to slow down and think properly. We worked through a structured business case, challenged our assumptions, and framed the problem, market, and opportunity in a way that was grounded and investor-ready. That clarity was critical at such an early stage.
One of the most valuable things I gained from the process was refinement around the core problem we were solving and whether it was worth pursuing at scale. With that conviction, we were able to move forward confidently into building and iterating on the product.
Today, Recovr is live, growing strongly, and is used by over 100 gyms. We’ve raised $1M in funding, demonstrated strong customer engagement and measurable retention improvements, and are now preparing for international expansion as the next phase of growth.”
