Kelly’s Journey with Hyper

“Before building TIDI, I had a strong idea but no clear starting point and no technical background. I knew there was an opportunity to create something meaningful, but translating that idea into a tangible tech product felt overwhelming. At the very beginning, I didn’t even know what AI was, let alone how to use it to shape a product.

The biggest challenge I faced early on was knowing where to begin. Building a startup can feel difficult when you are starting with just an idea, especially without the technical knowledge to understand what decisions need to be made first. I needed structure, direction, and practical guidance to turn my thinking into something real.

Working with Hyper helped me break the idea down and move forward with clarity. The team provided guidance from a very early stage, helping me make key decisions, shape the foundations of TIDI, and understand what needed to happen next. One of the most valuable things I gained through the process was the importance of collaboration. I realised that building a startup is not something you do in isolation, and that having the right people challenge your thinking and contribute their expertise can make all the difference.

Thanks to that support, I was able to turn my idea into something tangible and confidently share it with others. I secured a place in the UniSA ICC Venture Catalyst program in 2024, presented TIDI at startup expos, and brought the first version of the product to life. Today, TIDI has launched, and is already seeing early paying users with encouraging conversion rates.”
