Laura’s Journey with Hyper

I had spent years working as a child protection specialist, which led to seeing just how broken the current approach to youth safety really was. The biggest challenge I faced was lacking the confidence to act on my idea. I had no technical knowledge or startup experience, and even though I believed in the concept, I wasn’t confident I could execute it, so I didn’t take the leap.

Hyper helped me overcome this by surrounding me with a team of experts who genuinely wanted me to succeed. They gave me the early-stage resources I needed, guided me through the process, and empowered me to finally take action.

One of the most valuable things I gained from the process was a foundational understanding of the tech industry and a clear roadmap of the steps needed to give Kon-X the best chance of success. With Hyper’s guidance, I was able to pivot and refine my business model – the original concept was purely for emergencies, which made it hard to sustain as a business. Hyper helped me evolve it into an everyday support tool, making Kon-X more impactful for young people and far stronger in revenue potential.

Today, Kon-X is officially live. Along the way, I’ve built a strong founding team that believes in the mission as much as I do, gained international recognition as a voice in the youth safety industry, and launched the app as a bootstrapped, non-technical solo female founder.
